The 13th annual Minute Man March at Emerson Field in Concord is set for 10 a.m. May 6 and was created by and for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

By participating, people will support more than 700 children and adults with learning challenges who Minute Man Arc helps. Hundreds of walkers in tie-dye shirts are expected to loop through Concord center beginning at 10 a.m.

All abilities are welcome, including people with wheelchairs, walkers and strollers. After walking a 2-mile route, participants are invited to have lunch provided by Juliana’s Catering food truck while listening to music by DJ Brew or participating in an African drumming circle with Tony Fonseca. This year’s prize opportunities include Red Sox tickets, an Xbox and a Beautycounter Basket. Rounding out the day will be crafts, games, face painting, a bounce house and other offerings for children of all ages.

Proceeds will benefit Minute Man Arc individuals in need of therapeutic services, early intervention, housing, recreation and jobs. To sponsor a walker or create a fundraising site: 978-287-7932, minutemanarc.org.
